The 8th edition of Formula Bharat 2024 – India’s Formula Student Competition will take place from January 19 – 24, 2024 at Kari Motor Speedway Coimbatore. Twenty-six Combustion teams and 31 Electric teams from India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Dubai and Nepal will compete fiercely to take home the winning trophy. The competition’s core objective remains steadfast: challenging engineering students to design and fabricate a prototype vehicle that not only adheres to the stipulated rules but also embodies innovation and excellence. Over the span of a rigorous six-day competition, a distinguished jury comprising experts from the motorsport, automotive, and supplier industries will meticulously evaluate the teams and their vehicles across various criteria, including engineering design, overall cost, marketability, and dynamic performance. On-track assessments will gauge the real-world durability and performance of the prototype formula-style vehicles under authentic test conditions.
