BluSmart, India’s leading born-electric, full stack, vertically integrated eMobility ride hailing service and EV charging infrastructure network, has signed an MoU with Citroën, the leading French automaker, to integrate 4,000 electric vehicles (EVs) into its fleet. This move is a key milestone that aligns seamlessly with the surging consumer preference for sustainable transportation alternatives. As part of the initial phase, 125 Citroën ë-C3 were flagged off from BluSmart’s EV charging superhub in Bangalore.
The new Citroën ë-C3 – all-electric compact SUV will augment BluSmart’s growing fleet of 7,000 EVs. The Citroën ë-C3 offers a commendable range of 320 kms as per ARAI and features state-of-the-art fast charging technology, capable of achieving a ~full charge in less than an hour. Citroën’s famed Advanced Comfort Program combines intuitive technology and space to offer an elevated ride experience for all passengers. Its spacious interior, coupled with a generous 315-litre boot, caters seamlessly to travelers’ luggage requirements, particularly suiting airport transfers, a significant segment of BluSmart’s services.

Through Assure, institutions can finance the purchase of electric cars and lease them to BluSmart against fixed rentals.” added Anmol Jaggi.

BluSmart is building an integrated energy-infrastructure-mobility business and its born-electric technology stack, built indigenously, operates 7,000 BluSmart EVs and has completed over 12.5 million all-electric trips, having covered 410 million clean kms, saving 30 million kgs of CO2, since inception. BluSmart also owns and operates 4,400 EV Chargers across its 36 EV Charging superhubs spread across 1.5 million sq. ft. in densely populated megacities of Delhi NCR and Bangalore. Recently BluSmart entered into a multi-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Tata Power Trading Company Ltd. (TPTCL) to source green power.
