Tesla India has announced the opening of its first Tesla-Approved Body Shop in Pune, strengthening after-sales service support for owners across Maharashtra. The facility offers professional collision repair and bodywork to Tesla standards, genuine Tesla parts, software-aware diagnostics, and service by trained technicians — reducing downtime and bringing peace of mind to Tesla owners in the region.
Alongside the body shop launch, Tesla has also made test drives available in Pune and surrounding areas for the 2026 Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive and the Model Y L.
The 2026 Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds, delivers a range of up to 500 km on the WLTP cycle, and offers 2,138 litres of storage with seating for up to five passengers and power-folding seats. It is priced at ₹50,89,000 with a down payment of ₹6,00,000 and monthly EMI starting from ₹39,990, with deliveries commencing in July 2026.
The Model Y L is an all-wheel drive SUV with a three-row, six-seat configuration offering a range of up to 681 km on the WLTP cycle, 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in 5.0 seconds, and cargo space of up to 2,539 litres. It is priced from ₹61,99,000 with a down payment of ₹6,50,000 and monthly EMI starting from ₹49,990.
