66 engineering student teams to showcase engineering, innovation and future mobility solutions from 2–5 September
The 13th edition of SUPRA SAEINDIA will be held from 2–5 September 2026 at Buddh International Circuit, Greater Noida, bringing together engineering students from across India to demonstrate their technical knowledge, innovation and vehicle development capabilities.

With 66 teams participating — 52 Conventional Vehicle teams and 14 Electric Vehicle teams — the event will provide students with an opportunity to transform academic learning into practical engineering outcomes through a structured, industry-oriented evaluation process.
Four Days of Engineering and Evaluation
The programme will cover vehicle scrutiny, technical evaluations, Design, Cost and Business presentations, tilt and brake testing, noise checks, and battery and rain testing for EVs, followed by dynamic events including acceleration, autocross and skid pad.
The final stage will feature the endurance event, followed by result compilation and the valedictory and award ceremony, recognising the achievements of participating teams.
Where Engineering Meets Industry
SUPRA SAEINDIA provides students with hands-on exposure to vehicle design, analysis, manufacturing, testing, systems integration, project management and technical communication. The event also facilitates direct interaction with industry professionals, helping students gain insights into real-world engineering and product development challenges.
Supported by Leading Industry Organisations
The 2026 edition is supported by a strong network of organisations from India’s automotive, mobility, energy and engineering ecosystem.
Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) is the Title Sponsor, while BPCL is the Gold Sponsor and Envision Energy India Pvt. Ltd. is the EV Zone Partner.
ICAT, JK Tyres, Munjal Kiriu and Dassault Systèmes are Silver Sponsors, with KIET as the Host Partner.
AVL, Ansys, part of Synopsys, Validate Labs, CEAT and MRF are Bronze Sponsors.
ETAS, Migatronic and EKA Mobility are Customised Sponsors, while Morphine Motorsports is the KIT Partner.
The event is further supported by ARAI and ACMA Mobility Foundation as Supporting Partners, with ET Auto, Autocar Professional and EV Tech News as Media Partners.
Their collective support reinforces the importance of industry–academia collaboration in developing engineers equipped for India’s rapidly evolving mobility sector.
Building Engineers Beyond the Classroom
Months of design, development, fabrication, testing and teamwork enable students to build skills in problem-solving, project management, technical decision-making, collaboration and communication.
With Conventional and Electric Vehicle teams participating together, SUPRA SAEINDIA 2026 also reflects the changing mobility landscape and the growing importance of electrification, digital engineering and integrated vehicle development.
As teams converge at Buddh International Circuit, SUPRA SAEINDIA 2026 will bring engineering knowledge, practical application and industry engagement together on one platform — creating an experience that helps prepare students for the challenges of tomorrow’s mobility industry.
