Premium electric mobility startup Trev Mobility plans to raise $2 million in its next funding round to grow its fleet, enter new markets and strengthen its technology and operations.

The company currently runs 105 premium electric cars and SUVs from MG and BYD and aims to reach 300 vehicles by the end of this financial year. By 2031, it is targeting a fleet of 2,500 premium EVs across metros and select Tier-2 cities. Trev is nearing profitability, with an annualised revenue run rate of about ₹15 crore, and has earlier raised ₹3.5 crore from its own customers, including CXOs and frequent users.

Unlike ride-hailing aggregators, Trev runs its own chauffeur service. Drivers are employed on fixed salaries with incentives and insurance, and AI-enabled cameras monitor for signs of fatigue, aggressive driving, smoking and seatbelt violations. Around 90% of the fleet is leased, while Trev handles maintenance itself.

Next, the company plans to enter Bengaluru, Mumbai and other major cities, and is exploring partnerships to help it scale faster.

“We are not trying to compete for every ride,” said Naveen Gupta, Founder, Trev Mobility. “There is a distinct segment of customers for whom the quality of the car, chauffeur, safety and overall experience matters significantly.”
