EV Charging Infrastructure and Technology Summit to be held virtually on August 23 and 24

Charging & Storage e-Mobility

The event will provide an opportunity to learn how new developments in charging infrastructure affect OEMs, network operators, cities and cars around the world

OEMs, operators and energy suppliers are working towards realising a smart and universal charging infrastructure while facing increasingly complex end-users’ expectations at the same time. The EV Charging Infrastructure and Technology Virtual Summit to be hosted on August 23 and 24, 2021 will provide relevant stakeholder groups from the e-mobility and charging infrastructure sector a platform to look at how a charging network can be built intelligently, giving easy access to power and providing user-friendly, interoperable charging solutions. The session will have intensive and stimulating discussions about the perspectives, challenges and opportunities presented by expanding charging infrastructure networks.

E-Mobility: The Road to the Future?

We are seeing more and more electric vehicles on our roads every day. But as opposed to their fossil fuel-powered cousins, the infrastructure needed to keep them on the road isn’t nearly as well-developed. On the one hand, this means that energy providers are under pressure from drivers to expand their networks and adapt their business models to accommodate these new vehicles. And on the other hand, automobile manufacturers are becoming dependent upon easy and efficient charging infrastructure to be able to sell their vehicles to consumers – or are entering the market themselves.

The solutions to the challenges presented by the emergence of electric vehicles are diverse. All around the world, countries, cities, operators and OEMs are developing intelligent infrastructure to equip themselves for the future, while focusing on integrating charging stations with power grids. At the EV Charging Infrastructure and Technology Virtual Summit, international experts from OEMs, energy suppliers and operators will share their experiences and discuss the most pressing challenges as well as future opportunities and emerging business models. Some of the topics that will be discussed include:

  • An update on the charging infrastructure market
  • How can automakers captivate consumers and achieve mass-market electric vehicle adoption? Electro mobility developments across India
  • Charging requirements for public transport systems
  • Location model for detecting infrastructural demands
  • Latest plans and policies on boosting EVs and charging infrastructure
  • Today’s technologies and tomorrow’s solutions for smart charging
  • Investment needs and business models for e-mobility
  • E-highways for electric vehicles
  • Solving the climate crisis with e-mobility within the next 10 years.

Keynote Speaker

Himanshu B. Patel, CEO & Founder, Triton EV, will be a Keynote Speaker at the Summit. At the virtual conference, Himanshu will talk on the topic, “EV Charging Station and Problems with Grid Power and How We Will Solve It.” While many EV companies have not tried to tackle the major obstacle of charging infrastructure, Triton EV has kept it at the centre of its innovations and product line. The company’s CEO & Founder will dive deeper into its technologies and how its products will be able to help the grid issues. Himanshu will discuss on Triton’s innovative Power Home Link, which enables net metering and contributing existing power left on consumer’s vehicles to be supplied to the grid. The company’s offerings such as Semi Truck, Model H Luxury SUV, N4 Sedan and e-Rickshaws will also be touched upon in his talk.
