JSW MG Motor India has announced that its e-Hub by MG app has emerged as India’s largest unified EV charging platform, now listing more than 22,500 charging points across the country. The app has integrated 40 leading charge point operators (CPOs), including Jio-bp, Tata Power, Adani, Shell, Zeon, ChargeZone and BPCL, making it a comprehensive one-stop solution for EV charging.
The company also revealed that the app has crossed 150,000 downloads, reflecting the rapid growth of the electric vehicle ecosystem and the increasing demand for convenient charging solutions.
To enhance user experience, MG has introduced several new features on the platform, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, charger reviews and ratings, a smart trip planner, and information on nearby amenities. These additions are designed to make the app more intuitive and help EV users plan their journeys with greater confidence.
Commenting on the milestone, Mr. Vinay Raina, Chief Commercial Officer, JSW MG Motor India, said the growing adoption of the platform highlights the rising community of EV users in the country.
“It is inspiring to witness the rapidly growing community of EV users, both MG and non-MG customers, embrace the e-Hub by MG app. What excites us most is how effortlessly it helps customers navigate their EV journeys—whether planning long road trips or simply finding the nearest available charger. By bringing leading charge point operators together on one intuitive platform, e-Hub empowers users with choice, convenience and confidence,” he said.
The app enables EV users to locate, reserve and pay for charging sessions on a single platform, making trip planning simpler for both MG and non-MG electric vehicle owners.
Since its launch, the e-Hub platform has facilitated the dispensing of over 1.5 GWh of energy, supported more than 670,000 green trips, and enabled users to plan over 300 million kilometres of green travel. With these capabilities, the platform is emerging as a key enabler of India’s evolving electric mobility ecosystem.
