Microsoft has selected Magenta – the pioneer in the business of clean mobility and clean electricity in India – for its start-up support program. Under this program, Microsoft supports B2B tech startups to scale and grow leveraging its technology, cloud marketplace, enterprise sales team, and rapidly growing partner ecosystem for developing its digital technology platforms for EV and EV charging.
Magenta has been developing India specific EV charging hardware solutions since 2017. Now with the support of Microsoft, Magenta will be able to develop technology for the ChargeGrid software, which will truly enable Magenta to become an end-to-end ‘Socket to Software’ solution provider for EV charging in India.
Magenta’s EV related projects include ‘ChargeGrid’ – India’s first solar based EV charging station; India’s first EV corridor inMumbai-Pune expressway; and its involvement in HPCL electric vehicle charging station.
The company’s new ChargeGrid Pro AC Charger is part of an innovative electric vehicle community charging solution for residential and commercial use which is now mandatory as per Model Building Bye-Laws. This solution combines the advantages of easy installation, simple commissioning and made for Indian grid conditions. Industry-leading features come standard with the ChargeGrid AC Charger, including integrated wireless monitoring and datalogging via ChargeGrid’s online and mobile platform, which means no dedicated personnel are required for operations or collections – so one parking lot can serve multiple users.
