Yulu completes three years journey to emerge as country’s leading e-Mobility service provider. Founded in 2017, Yulu began with a mission to provide sustainable and affordable mobility at scale to solve for the first and last mile connectivity and to address the challenges of air pollution and traffic congestion. With 10,000 smart, dock less electric bikes across Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Bengaluru, Yulu is the country’s largest e-Mobility service provider. Yulu plans to increase its fleet size to 1,00,000 electric two-wheelers by Dec 2021.
Yulu is a technology-driven mobility platform that enables Integrated Urban Mobility across public and private modes of transport. Using Micro Mobility Vehicles (MMVs) through a user-friendly mobile app, Yulu enables first and last-mile connectivity that is seamless, shared and sustainable. It’s popular ‘Miracle’ light weight urban mini-scooter is designed for urban traffic conditions with a maximum speed of 25 kmph.
The company has developed its proprietary IoT driven and highly scalable battery swapping infrastructure along with in-house vehicle design to accelerate the adoption of e-Mobility in the country. Over the last 3 years, 2.5 million Yulu riders have covered 27 million kilometres and saved 2.3 billion grams of carbon emission.
