The 2026 edition of the 360° MOBILITY Mega Shows, organised by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), concluded successfully at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1. The four-day event from 14-17 April brought together Taipei AMPA, E-Mobility Taiwan, and Autotronics Taipei, attracting international visitors from 90 countries.

Smart cockpit and integrated automotive solutions were among the highlights of this year’s show, demonstrating Taiwan’s strengths in smart vehicle electronics and hardware-software integration.

The show welcomed nearly 2,500 overseas buyers and industry professionals, facilitated 815 one-on-one procurement meetings, and is projected to generate over US$ 338 million in follow-on business opportunities, reinforcing Taiwan’s strategic position in the global mobility ecosystem.

Driving the Future of Smart and Electric Mobility

This year’s edition centred on smart mobility, electrification, and new energy applications, with dedicated zones such as AI CAR, the EV Alliance, Vehicle Connectivity, and Hydrogen Applications. These segments collectively showcased Taiwan’s end-to-end capabilities – spanning complete vehicles, integrated systems, and critical components.

Hydrogen Valley Power and the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) jointly showcased a domestically developed hydrogen bus certified under both EU and UN standards, drawing inquiries from government agencies and industry experts from multiple countries.

Among the key highlights, Foxconn presented its smart EV platform strategy, while Hydrogen Valley Power, in collaboration with the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), unveiled a hydrogen bus certified to both EU and UN standards. The Taiwan–Japan collaboration Lean Mobility introduced an electric three-wheeler, drawing strong global interest.

These innovations resonated with visitors from Europe, the United States, Japan, Australia, India, and Southeast Asia, underlining rising global demand for next-generation mobility solutions.

Taiwan’s Transition Towards Software-Defined Vehicles

Taiwanese companies demonstrated strong momentum in smart vehicle technologies and hardware–software integration. Solutions such as smart cockpits, autonomous driving systems, and integrated vehicle platforms highlighted the industry’s shift from a component-focused base to a critical enabler of software-defined vehicles (SDVs).

The event also featured the 360° MOBILITY Forum, 360° MOBILITY USA Day, and a series of market exchange programs, focusing on geopolitics, supply chain restructuring, and international investment strategies to deepen industry dialogue and global connections.

Strong Aftermarket Ecosystem and Customisation Culture

Alongside future mobility innovations, the exhibition also highlighted Taiwan’s robust aftermarket segment and vibrant customisation culture. Companies such as Eagle Eyes, NHC Group, and Hushan Autoparts Inc. engaged actively with global buyers, showcasing the country’s manufacturing depth and supply chain strength.

Dedicated zones such as the Hydrogen Energy & Mobility Pavilion and the Speed & Crafts – Taiwan Motorcycle Custom Culture Exhibition added further depth. While the hydrogen pavilion showcased clean mobility applications, the custom motorcycle showcase featured 12 award-winning builds, blending performance, craftsmanship, and design.

Global Dialogue, Policy Exchange, and Industry Collaboration

Beyond the exhibition floor, TAITRA curated a comprehensive series of forums addressing key industry challenges. The 360° MOBILITY Forum examined geopolitics, tariffs, and supply chain shifts, while the 360° MOBILITY USA Day highlighted investment opportunities across key U.S. states.

To strengthen business engagement, the organizer arranged one-on-one procurement meetings and themed guided tours in English and Japanese, helping international buyers gain a deeper understanding of Taiwanese exhibitors’ technical strengths and application capabilities while enhancing matchmaking efficiency.

The Global Mobility Market Outlook & Strategic Procurement Exchange brought together associations from Poland, Kazakhstan, and Singapore, attracting over 500 professionals and reinforcing global collaboration efforts.

The event also co-hosted the 13th Annual Forum for International Green and Smart Mobility and the inaugural Asia-Pacific Road User Charging Summit, in partnership with leading organisations. These forums facilitated dialogue among policymakers and industry leaders from multiple regions, strengthening the event’s role as a policy and technology platform.

Sustainability, Engagement, and Global Reach

Sustainability remained a core focus, with ESG-centric sessions covering regulatory developments, supply chain compliance, and hydrogen mobility trends, drawing over 300 professionals.

To enhance engagement, five themed guided tours were organised for international buyers, enabling deeper interaction with exhibitors and improving business matchmaking outcomes.

The ESG-themed programs focused on sustainability regulations, supply chain compliance, and industrial transformation, underscoring the show’s commitment to future mobility and sustainable development.

The event also recorded strong international participation, hosting 16 global industry associations and 23 overseas media outlets – a testament to growing global interest in Taiwan’s mobility ecosystem.

Amid ongoing geopolitical and supply chain challenges, Taiwan continues to demonstrate resilience through its strong components ecosystem, ICT integration, and flexible manufacturing capabilities.

More than just an exhibition, the 360° MOBILITY Mega Shows has evolved into a strategic platform connecting global stakeholders, industry trends, and partnership opportunities. The next edition is scheduled for mid-April 2027.
