Ultraviolette Unveils First Electric Scooter at ₹1.2 Lakh

Ultraviolette takes a significant stride in its mission to revolutionize the electric vehicle industry. As the makers of ‘The Fastest Indian,’ and following the recent launch of the F77 SuperStreet, the company held its most extensive Product and Technology showcase: FAST FORWARD India ’25, in Bengaluru today. This landmark event prominently highlighted the company’s roadmap for the future, unveiled two new disruptive products and showcased its RsD prowess, epitomizing Ultraviolette’s vision for the future of electric mobility.

In a bold move to expand its market footprint, the company unveiled its exciting new product portfolio aimed at both the Indian and Global markets. Among the new offerings are two mainstream products set to redefine the EV landscape and slated to be The World’s Most Advanced Electric Scooter -‘Tesseract’ and a disruptive Electric Motorcycle- ‘Shockwave’ that promises to reignite the joy in every ride – a hark back to the days of 2-stroke motorcycling.

TESSERACT

Technology s Safety:

Tesseract features a segment first integrated radar and dashcam, seamlessly coupled with Omnisense mirrors, providing advanced safety technologies such as Blindspot Detection, Lane Change, Overtaking Assist, and real-time Collision Alerts. It is also equipped with Traction control and Dynamic regen for enhanced safety and optimizing energy consumption. In addition, Tesseract boasts a 7″ touchscreen TFT display, and multi-colour LED displays embedded in the ORVMs – further enhancing rider awareness and reducing the risk of accidents: making every journey safer and more enjoyable.

VIOLETTE A.I. has been designed to offer riders with advanced connectivity features that goes beyond the vehicle operating system. Key features of this pack include Advanced Ride Analytics, Movement, Fall and Towing Alerts, Remote Lockdown, Crash Alert, Daily Ride Stats, and an Anti-Collision Warning System.

Performance:

With 20bhp (15 kW) peak power output, Tesseract delivers an impressive inter-city range of 261 km, ensuring exceptional all-round performance. The scooter can be fast charged up to 80% in less than an hour, making it perfect for daily commutes and long-distance travel.

Capability:

Tesseract is designed to take on all road conditions with its 14” wheels, industry-defining aerodynamics, and a generous 34 litres of under-seat storage.

Tesseract has been unveiled at an introductory price of ₹1.2 lakhs for the first 10,000 customers. Its platform features a high capacity 6kWh battery that delivers a peak power output of 15kW and offers an impressive Indian Drive Cycle (IDC) range of 261 kms. It is also available with a 3.5kWh battery option providing a peak power output of 10kW and an IDC range of 162 kms as well as a 5kWh battery pack delivering a peak power output of 15kW and offering an IDC range of 220 kms.

For the next 50,000 customers, Tesseract will be priced at ₹1.3 lakhs, with the final pricing resting at ₹1.45 lakhs. Pre-bookings for Tesseract are now open at ₹GGG, with deliveries slated to begin by early 2026.

Tesseract will be available in four distinct colour options: Sunburst Sand, Stealth Black, Sonic Pink, and Solar White.

SHOCKWAVE

Shockwave marks Ultraviolette’s second unveil- a meticulously designed and engineered motorcycle to meet the demands of riders seeking an exhilarating riding experience and reigniting the joy in riding. Available at an introductory price of ₹1.4G lakhs for the first 1,000 customers, Shockwave boasts a 3.5kWh battery, delivering a peak power output of 14.5 bhp (10.8 kW) and an impressive IDC range of 165 kms. Pre-bookings for Shockwave commence today at ₹GGG. Shockwave is also available in two distinct colour options: Cosmic Black and Frost White.

Shockwave promises the same iconic thrill of the ‘2-stroke’ motorcycling era that represented the lightweight, fun, and accessible motorcycles. Deliveries of the Shockwave will commence by early 2026.
