Creatara Mobility, India’s pioneering lifestyle electric two-wheeler (e2W) manufacturer, today announced the inauguration of its first plant in Faridabad, with an installed annual capacity of 30,000 units. The milestone marks the company’s transition from passion, research, and development to scaled production, reinforcing its commitment to delivering innovative, sustainable, and personalised mobility solutions.
Speaking at the inauguration, Mr. Vikas Gupta, Founder & CEO, Creatara Mobility, said the company’s journey has never been about factories first, but about a vision realised step by step, beginning with an idea, evolving into a product, proving its potential, and achieving certification. He described the path as deliberate: Build, Validate, Certify, Industrialise, Scale, with each stage strengthening the next.
Strategically located in Delhi-NCR, the new facility is built on the principle of developing a repeatable, reliable, and scalable manufacturing system equipped to meet market growth. It will produce Creatara’s flagship models, the IN40 and VM4, crossover, intelligent electric two-wheelers designed for young riders who value individuality, personalisation, and style. With bold, globally aligned styling, advanced engineering, and extensive customisation options, the company aims to build a strong following among college-goers and young professionals, positioning its products as lifestyle statements as much as mobility solutions.
Mr. Ringlarei Pamei, Co-Founder, Creatara Mobility, said the company has been built with disciplined capital, focusing not on spending its way into scale, but on building capability at every stage, technology, product, certification, supply chain, and now manufacturing, adding that there is tremendous opportunity for companies that combine ambition with capital discipline.
Creatara has adopted the Japanese 5S philosophy, Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardise, Sustain, not just as a factory practice but as a broader mindset guiding both its vehicles and its manufacturing operations, with a focus on consistency, quality, process discipline, and scalable production as manufacturing begins.
The company has progressively built capabilities across powertrain, battery, electronics, electrical systems, tooling, manufacturing, connected technology, components, testing, and industrialisation. The IN40 and VM4, manufactured at the Faridabad facility, will cater to both domestic and export markets, aligning with a “Made in India, Made for the World” strategy. First showcased in January 2025, the vehicles are built on Creatara’s proprietary platform, featuring an AI-ready Vehicle Control Unit and portable, swappable battery packs.
