Jio-bp, the EV charging brand of Reliance BP Mobility, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Vertelo, an electric vehicle leasing platform, to support fleets of electric buses and trucks.
The two companies will explore combining Vertelo’s leasing services with Jio-bp’s fast-charging network. Plans include making charging points easy to find for Vertelo’s customers, offering preferential charging rates and building turnkey charging infrastructure in selected cities and highway corridors.
“Together, we aim to make reliable charging more accessible for electric buses and trucks,” said Akshay Wadhwa, CEO, Jio-bp.
