Each of these new charging hubs in the mall parking lots will offer a combination of slow and fast chargers so that users can easily charge their electric two, three and four wheelers.
“The holy city of Amritsar is also being developed as a smart city in recent years. And clean and carbon- less mobility system is one of the key and indispensable components of an emerging smart city ecosystem. With the installation of this charging station, needless to say, it would make life much easy for countless EV users in the city making their daily commute hassle-free and comfortable. At the same time, it would also give confidence to non-EV owners helping them in their decision to pivot to electric vehicles from predominantly petrol and diesel-powered vehicles. For a highly polluted city such as Amritsar which is often ranked among one of the most polluted cities in Punjab, this is a huge stride in terms of also addressing pollution, said Akshit Bansal, Co-founder and CEO, Statiq.
“With our comprehensive outing experience combining food, fun, entertainment, shopping and what not, we take pride in being the entertainment and leisure lifeline of the cities we operate in. Our Amritsar mall is a particularly lively and vibrant destination for people of all tastes and preferences. With this partnership with Statiq, country’s largest EV charging brand, we wish to not only improve the mall-going experience of our EV-driving patrons, but also contribute to the emerging smart city vision of the authorities in general. The provision for cleaner and greener mobility is a part of that futuristic perspective and we are glad that by teaming with Statiq, we are playing our part, said Col. Mandeep Singh, Center Director Nexus Amritsar.
As a company, Statiq offers commercially viable Franchise Business Model to its franchisees for setting up and operating an EV Charging Station for e-vehicles to meet their daily charging requirements. With the new launches of EVs in India, this will be an opportunity to the investor to be a part of this new age EV Charging business and get a first mover advantage.
Over the last year, Statiq has launched numerous charging stations to reinforce their already considerable network. By the end of the year, Statiq aims to have an approximately 20,000-strong charging network. Each location is handpicked for one singular reason – that it is located on busy routes with extremely extensive footfalls.
