EKA Mobility, a leading electric vehicle and technology company, in consortium with GreenCell Mobility, has secured a Letter of Award (LOA) for the supply and deployment of 915 electric buses in Hyderabad. The project will be executed under the Government of India’s CESL-led PM E-DRIVE (Electric Drive Revolution in Innovative Vehicle Enhancement) scheme.
The order includes 100 nine-metre (9 m) and 815 twelve-metre (12 m) standard floor non-AC electric buses, catering to a range of urban transport needs. The zero-emission buses are designed for efficient, reliable and passenger-friendly city operations.
This LOA follows earlier orders secured by EKA Mobility under CESL’s PM E-Bus Seva initiative for deployments across Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Puducherry and Meghalaya.

The PM E-DRIVE scheme is a flagship Government of India initiative aimed at accelerating EV adoption, strengthening domestic manufacturing and reducing urban pollution.
