Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited (MLMML) has become India’s first commercial EV manufacturer to cross four lakh cumulative electric vehicle sales, marking a major milestone in the country’s shift to electric last-mile mobility. Behind every three-wheeler and small commercial vehicle, the company noted, is a livelihood, a driver, a shopkeeper, a delivery partner, or a small business, and today more than 4 lakh of those journeys run on Mahindra’s electric vehicles.

The company attributed this success to a simple belief: customers adopt electric mobility when it makes economic sense. Rather than positioning EVs purely as a climate solution, MLMML focused on delivering products that improved customers’ daily earnings and business outcomes, with environmental benefits following naturally.
Mahindra’s electric vehicle range, including the UDO, Treo range, Zor Grand, ZEO, and e-Alfa, has collectively travelled more than 9 billion kilometres and helped avoid approximately 1,85,000 metric tonnes of CO2 emissions, equivalent to planting more than 8.3 million trees.
Backed by investments in customer-centric products, partnerships, financing, and support, MLMML is working towards putting one million EVs on the road by 2031.
Ms. Suman Mishra, Managing Director and CEO of Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited, said four lakh is not just a number for the company, it represents four lakh livelihoods it helps power every day. She said the milestone belongs to the drivers and entrepreneurs who chose electric, as well as the partners and teams who made electric mobility a practical choice for India’s last-mile economy, adding that the company’s focus remains on building better products, strengthening the ecosystem, and making electric mobility accessible for every last-mile customer.
