Mr. Parth Jindal as Chairman, JSW MG Motor India
JSW MG Motor India has appointed Mr. Parth Jindal as Chairman of the company, with immediate effect. Mr. Jindal has been a member of the company’s Board since the formation of the joint venture between JSW Group and SAIC Motor. He has been closely involved in shaping the company’s product strategy, manufacturing expansion and localisation programme.
He currently serves as Managing Director of JSW Cement and JSW Paints, Chairman of JSW Dulux and JSW MG Motor India, and a Director on the Board of JSW Energy. He is also the Founder of JSW Sports and Chairman and Co-Owner of the Delhi Capitals.
JSW MG Motor India is focusing on expanding its product portfolio, manufacturing capabilities and local supply chain, with an emphasis on sustainable mobility, advanced technology and customer experience.
The company has also strengthened its position in India’s electric vehicle market. It has sold more than 1.5 lakh EVs since launching its first electric vehicle, while the MG Windsor has emerged as the country’s best-selling EV, according to the company.
