Takshi Auto Components @ IAA Transportation 2022: Our electrical axial product range is grabbing attention at the show and we are identifying more customers in the European market. We are mainly focusing on the last mile mobility because we realize that Europe is also focused keenly on this segment. That is the reason, we are showcasing our product range of last mile mobility for electrical vehicles. Our target clients are those companies who manufacture vehicles under 3500 GVW.

Latest @ Takshi Auto Components: We are focusing strongly on the heavy commercial axles and complete systems for electric three-wheeler, and four-wheeler vehicles in the last mile mobility. Our objective is also to partner with the motor manufacturers too. We are already working on a technology to develop the systems and the motors so that our customers get the best kind of mileage with less battery power charge. So, that is the value proposition we are offering to our customers. We see a huge potential for our latest products in India as well as in the European market. The USP that we offer for the electric powertrain is our high efficiency. Coming to the other products, our speciality is our quality and for the housing products, it is the metal optimization. We use extrusion spindles, and then we also use high strength material for optimizing the thickness and the weight. The products are lighter compared to the traditional products.

In the Indian Context: In India, Takshi Auto Components has a strong customer base in the last mile mobility and in Europe, we are targeting many start-ups in this segment.
Resolving Pain Points: Where e-mobility is concerned, as an Indian manufacturing company, we offer cost optimization, and a value proposition in terms of quality, mileage to the customer. This ensures that the total cost of ownership for the end user is low. We offer an attractive package that comprises the software, motor controller and inverter equipped with the latest technology. Another major pain point when it comes to Indian companies is bridging the technology gap. They have to raise the bar for themselves in terms of quality and technology to meet the expectations of European clients. And the key lies in focusing more on research because Europe is big on it while Indian companies need to catch up to their standards. Takshi Auto Components is working towards this goal. We are looking for partners in Europe to join hands for technology upgradation, for innovation and for new technology.

Today, customers are looking for an economical alternative to products that come from China. Putting Best Foot Forward: Takshi Auto Components manufactures uniform products for their global markets but we also respond to customers’ requirement of customization in the regular axle housings that we supply to them and also in the e-mobility axles. The only difference lies in the packaging which is different for the European companies and the standards are different. We are putting the best foot forward as a proud Indian company and as a fitting alternative to cater to the world. In that context, we are looking for business partners in Europe to expand our business. We plan to set up a plant here for electrical powertrains and axles. We are looking at upgrading our product range to a higher capacity. And we are aggressively planning to enter the car segment and are in the process of developing a powertrain in India. The bottomline is that we are focusing on the expansion of our business because so far, we have been mostly active in the domestic market and a small percentage was exports but now we are focusing on increasing our global presence, starting with the markets in the US, and Europe.

Punchline: We believe that Indian companies and entrepreneurs are on par with global entrepreneurs and companies. We have surpassed quality standards, the competition, the attitude and the finances.
