Tata Nexon EV sales cross 2,000 mark

The Tata Nexon EV, one of the most popular electric cars in the country, has surpassed the 2000-unit sales milestone. In over 10 months since launch, the sales of the Nexon EV reached 2200 units as of November 2020, reflecting the huge demand for EVs in the personal car segment. After rolling out its 1000th Nexon EV in August this year, the vehicle model clocked in another 1000 units sales in a record time of 3 months from Sept to Nov 2020. With its compelling value-proposition, the Nexon EV has emerged as the best-selling electric car in India. Tata Motors is currently leading the EV segment with a 74% market share, the accomplishment being a testament to the strong response from customers for India’s own electric SUV, the Tata Nexon EV.
