Innovative Technologies for a Connected Future

Ultraviolette’s innovation extends far beyond the hardware of the Tesseract and Shockwave. Both products feature a range of cutting-edge technologies designed to offer riders a smarter, safer, and more connected experience.

Some of the key technologies include:

  • Radar Technology: Integrated radar systems for blind-spot detection, lane change assist, and real-time collision alerts.

Niraj Rajmohan reflected on the brand’s focus on innovation: “Our cutting-edge technology is poised to become more accessible to the mainstream market while maintaining the brand’s hallmark of futuristic design and advanced engineering. We are focused on making products that deliver a connected, hassle-free riding experience.”

Ultraviolette is not stopping at product launches. With the introduction of these two models, the company has also laid out an ambitious roadmap for expansion. By FY 2026, the company aims to extend its presence across 50 cities in India and expand into key international markets such as the UK, Germany, Spain, Portugal, and France.

Niraj Rajmohan revealed, “We are focused on both domestic and international markets, with a goal to deliver 100,000 units annually over the next 3 to 4 years. We are confident that our products will resonate with consumers globally, thanks to our relentless focus on design, performance, and safety.”

Investment and Future Product Lineup

Building these advanced electric vehicles has not come without substantial investment. Ultraviolette has spent approximately $60 million (around ₹460 crore) to date, a fraction of what larger companies in the industry typically invest. This efficient capital deployment allows the company to offer its products at competitive prices without compromising on quality or performance.

Ultraviolette also has plans for a future lineup of nine new products within the next three years, focusing on various segments, from lightweight electric scooters to crossover motorcycles. This aggressive product strategy demonstrates the company’s commitment to becoming a major player in the global EV market.

Narayan Subramaniam highlighted this vision: “Our roadmap includes nine new products across five distinct categories. It’s an ambitious plan, but we are confident that our team, our technology, and our commitment to innovation will enable us to achieve these goals.”

Addressing After-Sales and Service Challenges

One of the key challenges for any automotive company, especially in the electric vehicle space, is after-sales service. Ultraviolette is taking a proactive approach to this by investing in technical training for service centers and ensuring that parts and services are available promptly.

Niraj Rajmohan emphasized the importance of a strong after-sales network: “We’ve spent significant time and effort ensuring that our service network is prepared for the challenges that come with new technology. We’re focusing on making sure that our customers get the best experience possible—not just at the point of sale, but throughout the lifetime of the product.”

With the launch of the Tesseract and Shockwave, Ultraviolette is positioning itself at the forefront of the electric vehicle revolution. Through a combination of innovative technology, affordable pricing, and an ambitious expansion plan, Ultraviolette is setting the stage for a future where electric mobility is mainstream, accessible, and thrilling for riders worldwide.
