VinFast Auto India has inaugurated its 60th retail outlet in India, a new 3S dealership in Patna, Bihar — marking the Vietnamese electric vehicle brand’s first presence in the state and its continued push into tier 2 and tier 3 markets across the country. The milestone comes just one year after VinFast opened its first showroom in India, underscoring the pace of its national expansion.
The new dealership, established by Patliputra Motors Private Limited under Mr. Harsh Raj, is located on NH-30 Bypass Road in Patna and spans 11,500 sq. ft., with a 3,000 sq. ft. showroom at its centre. The facility brings together vehicle sales, after-sales services, and customer support under one roof, designed as a one-stop destination for every stage of the ownership experience.
Mr. Tapan Ghosh, CEO of VinFast India, said the company is delighted to mark the milestone of 60 dealerships while establishing its presence in Bihar for the first time, calling it an important step in its growth journey and an opening into a promising market in eastern India.
VinFast’s current India lineup includes the VF 6 and VF 7 electric SUVs, both carrying 5-star Bharat NCAP safety ratings, and the VF MPV 7, a premium seven-seater with an ARAI-certified range of 517 km. All models are backed by up to 10-year or 2,00,000 km warranty coverage, three years of complimentary maintenance, roadside assistance, and complimentary charging across the V-Green network until March 2029. The company’s Value Assured Programme offers customers predefined buyback values after a specified ownership period, while the Trade Gas for Electric programme supports customers switching from petrol or diesel vehicles.
VinFast remains on track to establish 75 dealerships across more than 60 cities by the end of 2026, continuing to build out its retail, after-sales, and charging infrastructure as part of its long-term commitment to India’s electric mobility transition.
