Ampere, the E2W brand from Greaves Electric Mobility Limited, today announced a major technology upgrade for its best-selling Magnus G Max. Powered by the new NxG.io software platform, the upgraded scooter now offers 30+ IoT-enabled features designed to make everyday riding easier, safer, and more convenient, including Cruise Control, Hill Hold, Turn-by-Turn Navigation, Find My Scooter, and Ping My Scooter.

The new connected features come with an intuitive UI on the Ampere Connect App, designed around the realities of everyday Indian mobility. Hill Hold offers greater confidence in stop-and-go traffic and on inclines, Cruise Control improves comfort on longer stretches, and Turn-by-Turn Navigation on the new 5-inch PMVA digital cluster helps riders stay on course without checking their phones. Find My Scooter and Ping My Scooter simplify locating the vehicle in crowded parking areas. The connected ecosystem also includes real-time charging status, live tracking, geo-fencing, theft and tow alerts, remote vehicle diagnostics, service booking, charging history, and battery health insights, with over-the-air update capability ensuring the experience continues to evolve. The upgraded Magnus G Max also introduces a new Cinnamon Copper colour option alongside premium dual-tone colours, priced at INR 1,09,999.
Speaking on the launch, Mr. Vikas Singh, Managing Director, Greaves Electric Mobility, said that for Bharat, smart mobility must be practical, dependable, and easy to use every day. The connected upgrade complements the scooter’s performance and ownership proposition. The Magnus G Max comes with a 3 kWh LFP battery and a 2.4 kW peak motor delivering 130 Nm of wheel torque, offering an IDC-certified range of 142 km and a real-world range of over 100 km, with a top speed of 65 kmph. With 12-inch wheels, telescopic front suspension, and dual rear shock absorbers, the scooter is built to handle varied road and weather conditions. It continues to use next-generation LFP battery technology designed for a long life of 2,00,000 km, backed by a 5-year/75,000 km battery warranty, strengthening its total cost of ownership advantage for customers switching from petrol scooters.
The upgraded Ampere Magnus G Max will be available across Ampere dealerships, offering customers a smarter, feature-rich electric scooter built around everyday practicality, connected technology, and long-term value.
