OHM Automotives Private Limited (“OHM”), in collaboration with Kinwin China, has announced the procurement and introduction of next-generation 12-metre electric intercity coaches and intracity buses for the Indian market.
Under this strategic collaboration, OHM will introduce premium electric buses manufactured by CHTC China and supplied through Kinwin China, with the aim of accelerating the transition towards sustainable and intelligent public mobility solutions across India.
The newly introduced electric buses are equipped with advanced CATL battery technology, featuring a high-capacity 353 kWh battery pack capable of delivering an estimated driving range of over 300 km on a single charge. The battery system is also engineered for exceptional durability, with an estimated lifecycle of approximately 1.2 million km, ensuring long-term operational reliability and a reduced total cost of ownership for fleet operators.
The buses are designed to offer:

As part of the long-term collaboration, Kinwin China will also provide technology support to help strengthen OHM’s local capabilities in electric bus manufacturing, integration, and deployment in India.
